Adelante Healthcare is officially launching its new mobile medical service, the Adelante CareMobile.
The CareMobile provides an extension of Adelante’s community health services to the populations that need it most. The mobile medical unit, staffed by licensed healthcare providers, will provide various services, including essential primary care services that can be moved throughout the Valley as needed. CareMobile will also give the community a connection and entry point into Adelante’s behavioral health services.
The CareMobile will travel to events and other scheduled locations to provide services. Adelante offers services to all ages of patients and all income levels. To aid the community in gaining access to services, Adelante offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program and assists patients in applying to various financial assistance programs.
The Adelante CareMobile program received support via federal ARPA funding, signed by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, for staffing and services. Additionally, Arizona Complete Health funded a capital grant in 2021 for Adelante to purchase and equip the mobile health unit.
