2024 Galactic Greens Charity Golf Tournament

Thank you for all that joined us for an out-of-this-world experience at Galactic Greens! Our 12th annual Adelante Healthcare Charity Golf Tournament took place on November 14, 2024, at Whirlwind Golf Club at Wildhorse Pass.

Together, we made space for a universe of fun while supporting a great cause—the launch of expanded mental health services in Central Phoenix and Maricopa County.

About the Cause

Since 2020 and the start of the Pandemic, the focus on mental health and the need for services has grown like never before.

An estimated 1 in 5 adults in the United States will experience some form of mental illness every year. Ongoing depression and other mental health concerns can double the risk of developing cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. And it is reaching crisis proportions as the suicide rate in 2022 reached its highest point in the last 10 years.

Adelante is looking to answer this need in the Central Phoenix area by expanding behavioral health services. This new facility is on track to start developing in 2025 and will help to bring services closer to those needing it most.

A Story Behind the Cause: Noah's Perspective

Noah's story is one of resilience and hope. After facing depression, addiction, and the loss of identity following a high-stress job, he struggled to ask for help, feeling isolated and overwhelmed. With compassionate support and therapy, Noah began healing, overcoming challenges, and addressing the pain that held him back. Now, with 35 days of sobriety, he’s celebrating progress and reconnecting with life and loved ones.
