Since 2020 and the start of the Pandemic, the focus on mental health and the need for services has grown like never before.
An estimated 1 in 5 adults in the United States will experience some form of mental illness every year. Ongoing depression and other mental health concerns can double the risk of developing cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. And it is reaching crisis proportions as the suicide rate in 2022 reached its highest point in the last 10 years.
Adelante is looking to answer this need in the Central Phoenix area by expanding behavioral health services. This new facility is on track to start developing in 2025 and will help to bring services closer to those needing it most.
