Sabahat Hussain, PA-C

Telehealth, Behavioral Health

Why did you become a healthcare provider?

I became a behavioral health specialist because, growing up in a Pakistani, first-generation household, mental health was rarely talked about or prioritized. I wanted to change that narrative—both in my community and beyond—by helping others feel seen, supported, and empowered to seek help without shame.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and discovering new places to eat. Exploring different cultures and trying new foods are some of my favorite ways to unwind.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

I truly care about my patients’ mental health and overall well-being. It’s incredibly rewarding to walk alongside them in their journey and see the progress they make. Watching someone grow, heal, and regain hope is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do.
