Choosing nursing as my career path gives me the opportunity to help people and serve the community in a positive, meaningful way.
Caring for patients in a primary care is fulfilling for innumerable reasons. Things I find most fulfilling is building relationships with patients while encouraging them to participate in their own healthcare. I also enjoy educating patients about disease prevention/management which helps improve their overall health.
What attracted me most about working for a community health center such as Adelante is the ability to help increase access to crucial primary care by reducing barriers patients often experience. In doing so, I can help patients live healthier lives and support the overall health of their communities.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as traveling and going to football/basketball games.
