What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?
I love that in pediatrics we get to grow up with the kids and the families. Childhood has so many stages and it’s really fun to see the differences and how people grow and change.
What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?
I loved the idea of a community health center because it allows for collaboration. Health is multifactorial and having different pieces all in one place is so helpful for patients and providers to make sure we are doing the best job.
If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?
A kindergarten teacher.
Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?
When not at work I like to travel- visiting family and friends across the USA, go to concernts or sporting events and I recently started to play golf and have grown up playing tennis.
Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?
My favorite TV show is Friday Night Lights.
