Why did you become a healthcare provider?


I completed EMT training for a volunteer position, and became fascinated with physiology. I chose the nursing profession as it allowed me to combine my love of physiology with the human side of nursing people and families.

What attracted you to a community health center for your practice? 


Community Health Centers are focused on addressing social determinants of health, as well as providing needed hands-on care.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients? 

Providing a safe place for people to share their concerns and worries, and feel accepted. Sharing a good laugh is also one of my moments.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

I enjoy reading a great book, especially fiction, going to the movies, practicing yoga, exercising, and decorating my home.

If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?

A musician or visual artist

Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?  


I am rewatching the series ,”Call My Agent”. Very funny, and dramatic. One of my favorite authors is Tea Obrecht, author of “The Tiger’s Wife”,
