Pediatrics

Why did you become a healthcare provider?

Since I was 12 years old I knew I wanted to be doctor. I decided to become a pediatrician because I enjoy the opportunity to interact both with parents and also their children, and seeing them grow over time.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

Watching my patients grow up is incredibly rewarding. Seeing them come in year after year for well-checks, learning about how their interests and talents have changed, and how they have grown — not just in height & weight but also as a person — brings me such joy.

If you could be anything else, what would you be?

If I were ever to retire as a pediatrician, I would volunteer as a pediatrician! I sincerely feel blessed to have a career doing what I feel called to do.

Do you have any children? If so, what are their ages?

I have three daughters (20, 15, & 13 years old).

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

I enjoy playing tennis (and also officiate tennis for college & the pros). I am also a cellist in the North Valley Symphony Orchestra and in the Musical Theatre Alliance of Arizona, and enjoy playing piano and guitar as well.
