Growing up, my dad was very inspirational in what it meant to make a difference in other people’s lives, especially those that were not so privileged. As a result, I felt the need to pursue medicine so I can make an impact on the well-being of others.
Working at a community health center is fulfilling. There are services and resources available to help provide comprehensive care, and we get to work with likeminded professionals who are mission driven and understand what it takes to not only care for our patients but also the health of the community we serve.
Building rapport and knowing that the care we give is important in the lives that we touch.
Don’t think I would want to be anything else.
I have 3 children who are in their late 20’s and early 30’s.
I love to travel and immerse myself in different cultures, their history and their food.
