Lexington Dobbs, RDN

Registered Dietitian

Why did you become a dietitian?

I became a dietitian after playing sports for most of my life. Nutrition felt like the missing piece for athletes trying to optimize their performance, and through my experiences, I learned that its impact stretches far beyond a game and into everyday life. My interest in nutrition is rooted in helping others improve their confidence, energy, and overall quality of life. I value meeting patients where they are to empower healthier, more confident versions of themselves through realistic and sustainable change.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

I love seeing my patients make progress towards their goals and having the privilege to cheer them on in the process!

What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?

I have always enjoyed being involved in the communities I’ve lived in and wanted to continue this after moving to Arizona. I also love getting to work with all ages in our community!

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

I love traveling! If I’m away from work, I’m most likely exploring somewhere new (and trying new food along the way).

Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?

My favorite TV show is One Tree Hill.
