What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?

I love caring for people at the margins of society. Taking care of the underserved is my passion. Developing innovative ways to deliver better healthcare by leveraging technology will allow us to serve more community members.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

The most fulfilling part of my career is helping people feel better and live longer. I am passionate about this and enjoy hearing about how their quality of life has improved once they achieve their healthcare goals.

If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?

As a pilot and a physician I have positioned myself to one day become an astronaut. Or at least, a physician for NASA.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

I enjoy the outdoors. From hiking to kayaking to mountain climbing, if it involves nature you can be sure to find me there enjoying the wonders of the earth. I love photographing my experiences and am always planning another adventure.

Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?

Currently I am fascinated by economics and demographic and the demographic changes that are occurring in America. I am learning about these topics in my spare time.
I enjoy watching/reading: Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
