Becoming a therapist felt like a natural path for me—it allows me to create a safe, supportive space where others can feel heard, understood, validated, and empowered to grow. I’m passionate about mental health and believe in the power of connection, empathy, and resilience, while challenging stigma surrounding mental health. Through this work, I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I support.
In my free time- my family and I are typically outside hiking, bike riding, or at a park! If I am stuck inside on a rainy day I am typically playing with cars with my toddler, or watching a new documentary on netflix!
Working at a community health center is especially meaningful to me because it allows me to serve individuals and families who might otherwise face barriers to accessing mental health care. I’m passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space where people from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and supported. I have experience working with at-risk and court-ordered youth, as well as adults and families facing challenges related to sexually abusive behaviors, personality and mood disorders, substance use, severe mental illness, depression, and anxiety.
