Behavioral Health

Why did you become a behavioral health specialist?

To have a better understanding of mental health and to learn how to help teach those struggling to be successful at coping with grief, anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

Providing trauma-informed care to individuals in need on all levels.

What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?

Loving the idea of providing assistance to those in need before their situation becomes worse or intolerable. Prevention is key to avoid crisis or hospitalization.

If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?

This is my passion and actively choose to stay in this field.

Do you have children? If so, what are their ages?

I have one daughter that is 31 and a son that is 18.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

Spending time with friends and family. Movies, books, cooking and travel.

Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?

I have too many to mention as favorites.
