What is the Health Insurance Marketplace? (ACA)

The Health Insurance Marketplace, also known as The Marketplace, was set up under the Affordable Care Act as a one-stop online resource that makes it easier to find affordable healthcare coverage. In Arizona, you can access The Marketplace at HealthCare.gov, to take advantage of this resource:

    • Shop, compare, and enroll in a plan that best meets your needs and budget

    • See if you are eligible for federal tax credits and subsidies or discounts that will help cover insurance costs

    • Check eligibility for public health programs like AHCCCS

Even if you have not been able to afford health insurance before, you may qualify for financial help to pay for private health insurance.
