Sentari Minor is most passionate about bringing the best out of individuals and entities. His love languages are strategy, storytelling, and social impact. As Head of Strategy for evolvedMD, Mr. Minor is at the forefront of healthcare innovation with a scope of work that includes strategy, corporate development, growth, branding, culture, and coaching. Prior to evolvedMD, he worked with some of the Nation’s most prominent and curious CEOs and entrepreneurs advising on philanthropy, policy, and everything social good as Regional Director of Alder (formerly Gen Next) [PHX + DAL + SFO] and strengthened social enterprises as Director at venture philanthropy firm, Social Venture Partners.
A Phoenix native, Mr. Minor continued his education in the Midwest and is an alumnus of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana where he studied English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. He is also a member of Class IV of the American Express Leadership Academy through the Arizona State University Lodestar Center. With his background, Mr. Minor serves on the board of directors for a diverse set of social impact organizations, as a venture mentor for socially conscious companies nationwide, and as a facilitator for businesses who want organizational clarity. Passionate about strengthening brands doing good in the world, Mr. Minor speaks nationally on governance, leadership, capacity building, social entrepreneurship, and engaging high-profile leaders in the dialogue of today.
When he’s not busy changing the world, he enjoys working out, stirring the pot on social media, being an amateur author, and spending time with the people who make him smile.

Jason Reed is the Vice Chair of the Adelante Healthcare Board of Directors, joining in 2017.
He is currently Chief Innovation Officer at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and a member of the executive team. He leads key strategic growth initiatives, and drives business transformation efforts through human-centered design thinking, analytics, and technology.
Previously, Jason founded FoodRx, an industry-leading health care venture that provided food prescriptions to lower-income patients with chronic diseases through value-based contracts with accountable care organizations. Jason was also a senior strategist for Fortune 500 healthcare and food companies at consultancy McCann Erickson, and previously with Ogilvy.
Jason holds a master’s degree from Harvard University, an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, and completed executive education at Stanford University’s d.School. He has been honored globally as a Fellow by The Aspen Institute in philanthropy and social innovation, and nationally as an American Express NextGen Fellow by Independent Sector.

Michael is Australian born and raised, and has a long and varied career in Entrepreneurship and Technology, crossing management roles in Fortune 500 companies, as well as executive positions in several tech startups.
Having lived, traveled, and worked through Australia, Asia, Europe, and now the US, Michael is focused on growing businesses through building great teams and serving customers in a way that always brings them back. Receiving his MBA while living and working in Singapore and managing a team across Asia gives him a global view of business and relationships.
As part of his leadership roles, Michael also serves on the board of 3 non-profits, including SEED SPOT, Hunkapi Programs Inc, and Adelante HealthCare. Focusing on the big challenges of growing a business, Michael also escapes through mountain climbing as a hobby, having climbed Kilimanjaro twice, Everest Base Camp, Mt Agung in Indonesia, attempted Aconcagua in Argentina, and has several more on his bucket list! Proud / single dad of a recent ASU graduate, now focused on giving back.

Phil Taylor joined the Adelante Healthcare Board of Directors in 2014. He has served as Board Treasurer and Board Chair. Phil retired as a certified public accountant after a career of forty-four years, providing accounting and tax services to small and medium-sized businesses.

Managing Member, Gammage & Burnham
Heather joined the Adelante Board of Directors in 2016. Heather is the Managing Partner at the law firm of Gammage & Burnham. She represents healthcare providers with respect to reimbursement issues in administrative hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court actions. She has also successfully negotiated resolutions to AHCCCS OIG audits with respect to both billing and compliance issues. She is well-versed with respect to various healthcare payment methodologies and legal protections. When not practicing law, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and two dogs and planning their next vacation adventure.

President, Gordon Grado, MD, Inc.
Dr. Grado is originally from the Midwest, having grown up in Iowa and Illinois. After completing his medical education at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, he went on to an Internship at the University of Chicago and subsequently finished his Residency in Therapeutic Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He went on to practice in Radiation Oncology (Therapeutic Radiology) in Nebraska and later Iowa before being recruited to establish and become Chair of the Radiation Oncology Department at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he worked for almost ten years. While at Mayo Clinic, he worked to develop an internationally recognized cancer treatment program involving fluoroscopic and ultrasound image guided brachytherapy for the treatment of prostate cancer. After leaving Mayo Clinic, he became Medical Director and expanded Southwest Oncology Centers across Arizona. Dr. Grado has also been key to building four cancer centers in Mexico, El Salvador, and Costa Rica. He has traveled extensively around the world to train and develop prostate brachytherapy programs and radiation therapy centers throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa, and North, Central, and South America.

Darrell Leonard joined the Adelante Board of Directors in 2015 with over 30 years of technology and communications security experience. Darrell has had a leadership role in information technology, data communications, systems engineering, software development, cyber security, space operations, aviation, strategic planning, process improvement, facility management and logistics. Darrell is currently the President of ManCom Inc.

Vice President, Partnerships and Innovation, August United
Gabriel Salomon Ramirez currently serves as Vice President of Partnerships and Innovation for August United, an influencer marketing agency partnering with brands like Microsoft, Circle K, and Kroger. His passion is combining mindfulness principles with corporate strategy to help brands achieve the results they desire in a meaningful manner. An alumnus of Arizona State University, Gabriel’s spent 13 years with media and publishing conglomerate Gannett Co, Inc., where he worked his way up through various key roles on both the editorial and digital side of the business. His unique experience with publishing, media, advertising and digital give him strategic insights into how companies can make a meaningful impact in the constantly evolving digital landscape. Gabriel also serves on the Advisory Board for Grand Canyon University (NASDQ: LOPE) where he helped create and bring to market their social media undergraduate degree. Gabriel also an avid snowboarder, meditator, and dog enthusiast.

Outreach Manager, Health Choice
Lupe Campos serves as a Community Relations Manager in the Marketing Department and has 18 years of experience in the health care industry with expertise in the state and federal requirements for enrollee rights, marketing, communications, project planning and community development, focusing on Medicaid and Medicare (dual eligible plans). Before joining Health Choice, Lupe was the Education Specialist for the Arizona HealthCare Cost Containment System - State of Arizona Medicaid agency known as AHCCCS, where she assisted with the marketing and communication functions for the agency.
Lupe's team consists of four Community Outreach staff members. She oversees the community development, outreach and lead generations. She works with internal subject matter experts on the implementation, marketing, and design of member educational materials and advises executive leadership on meeting organizational goals for member growth and retention. Her experience in Marketing allows her to create effective outreach strategies for culturally diverse members. Lupe serves on several non-profit boards, to name a few, Helping Families in Need and Chicanos Por La Causa.
Lupe leads by example, encouraging her team to engage with members to provide education and resources so that they can take charge of their health. She ensures her team contributes to the organization by coaching them to generate sales leads and meet quality measures.
Her tireless community outreach efforts have earned her the admiration and respect of community leaders and colleagues. She is passionate about her role in community and outreach and takes great pride in working in the health care industry, helping underserved communities.

Hometown Scholars Coordinator, A.T. Still University
Nelida Acosta is the Hometown Scholars Coordinator at A.T. Still University; whom works towards assisting health centers close the gap by guiding future healers within their community to become health center heroes and serving the under-served.
She was raised in the agricultural community and has devoted her career path and volunteer work in serving the under-served communities.

Jan has been in the Health, Wellness and Fitness Field for over 30 years. She worked and volunteered in many settings including the YMCA, Government Employee Wellness Programs at the county and federal level, Health Clubs and Public Health departments. She has worked with diverse populations, always focusing on improving their health and quality of life.
Jan has extensive experience in Health and Fitness Programs and has taught and administered group exercise programs for many years. Jan was recognized by the National Association of Counties for creating a Volunteer Fitness Instructor Program for Maricopa County employees
Jan has designed and presented webinars and classes on a variety of “preventive care” and fitness topics.
Jan graduated from A.T. Still University where she earned her Master of Public Health degree. She is a certified Exercise Therapist and works with people with a variety of medical conditions and physical limitations. She is also an American College of Sports Medicine certified Master Trainer.
Jan has competed in 5 National Senior Olympic Games on the Arizona Team in the triathlon event. She is also an avid hiker and cyclist and has a goal of completing the 800 mile Arizona Trail.

Vice-Chair, Dept of Osteopathic Family & Community Medicine, Midwestern University
Dr. Lawrence Sands is vice-chair of the Department of Osteopathic Family and Community medicine, as well as clinical professor of preventive medicine and public health at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM). He also is on faculty for Midwestern University’s Masters in Public Health program, with an appointment in the College of Graduate Studies.
With over 25 years of experience working as a public health physician Dr. Sands has served in various leadership positions within state and local public health agencies including: chief health officer for the Southern Nevada Health District in Las Vegas, NV; community health services director and biodefense preparedness and response medical director for the Maricopa County Department of Public Health in Phoenix, AZ; and state epidemiologist and infectious disease services chief for the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Dr. Sands is a past president of the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (2003-2004), and is a past member of the Health Improvement Partnership of Maricopa County steering committee (2015-2021). He has served on the Adelante Healthcare board of directors from 2013-2022 including three years as board chair (2017-2019), and currently is an emeritus board member.
Board certified in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health; Dr. Sands received his D.O. degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM). He completed a residency in preventive medicine and public health, in addition to an MPH degree in health planning and administration, at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Prior to entering the public health field, Dr. Sands practiced as a primary care physician in Michigan.

Gary Cloud, MBA, PhD, is a Community Health Center zealot. He is blessed to work with a health professions university dedicated to preparing healers for underserved communities. He works with health centers, associations, leaders in the movement, and leadership at A.T. Still University to identify workforce needs and establish innovative health professions colleges, partnerships, programs and strategies.

Kristen serves as the founding Principal for KAHARRIS & CO., LLC (a specialty consulting firm) where her mission is to “Partner with leaders and organizations to provide strategic financial insights to achieve what matters most”. She also serves as the finance leader of Arizona School of Health Science at A.T. Still University – where she’s charged with financial oversight and has steadfastly upheld and advanced the university’ financial stewardship and standing.
Kristen joined AT Still University in 2016. Prior that, she served as a financial expert in diverse capacities providing guidance to organizations and Fortune 500 clients experiencing complex financial difficulties in her roles at Beneficial Savings Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton, and KAHARRIS & CO., LLC.
Kristen’s areas of expertise include corporate strategic planning, financial oversight, program development, internal controls strengthening, investigative audits, risk management, organizational culture and standard-setting. Kristen’s breadth of experience crosses several industries and uniquely blends expertise in major areas of business including financial services, legal, healthcare, corporate and university administration. These experiences have allowed Kristen to successfully lead organizations through the intersection of strategy, finance, and organizational transformations which continue to fortify her leadership portfolio as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
Kristen has faithfully sought opportunities for service to the broader community. She recently joined the Board of the FEI (Financial Executives International, PHX) and is excited to be a part of the evolution of the organization. She is also honored to serve on the Board of Directors for Adelante Healthcare as an Emeritus member, as she’s committed to being a part of the solution of providing quality healthcare to all – including the underserved. Kristen is also a proud Rotarian.
Kristen is a native of Columbus, Ohio and is a proud Buckeye fan. She studied Economics and Spanish at Bucknell University earning an BA in Economics (with a minor in Spanish). She also studied Business Administration earning an MBA from Arizona State University.
Kristen has a passion for traveling, learning new languages, is fluent in French, loves to play tennis, and has an enthusiastic love for uplifting and empowering individuals and communities. She is an adoring wife and mother of two beautiful t(w)eens, Kaitlyn and Carson.
