Sophia Campbell Burrell LMSW

Telehealth, Behavioral Health

Why did you become a healthcare provider?

I became a social worker because I believe in helping people break cycles—whether that’s emotional pain, toxic relationships, or generational patterns. I’ve always felt drawn to supporting others through hard transitions, especially when they feel unheard or stuck. Social work gives me the tools to empower people, not just to survive, but to heal, grow, and redefine their lives on their own terms.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

Working out, Gardening, Hiking.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

What I find most fulfilling is witnessing a patient begin to trust themselves again—to see their strength, set boundaries, and grow more confident in their voice. I don’t take it lightly when someone allows me into their healing process. I’m here to listen, help them connect the dots, and walk alongside them as they make meaningful changes. It’s not about giving advice—it’s about helping people feel seen, supported, and capable of rewriting their story.
