Rebecca Hampton

Behavioral Health

Why did you become a therapist?

I entered the behavior health field due to a desire to use my experiences to make a difference in the lives of others.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

It is an honor to partner with my clients to help them overcome the obstacles they are facing and improve the quality of their lives.

What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?

My background is in medical social work and I believe in the wholistic care model. Working in an interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of clients is important to me.

If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?

If I was not working as a therapist I would be teaching at a university and involved in community-based research.

Do you have children? If so, what are their ages?

I have three kids, ages 13, 10, and 8.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

I enjoy being outside in nature and love camping, hiking, and kayaking.

Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?

I am a huge fan of the Outlander book and TV series.
