I wanted to help people live longer and healthier lives through nutrition! Often, “healthy” foods look one certain way in the media and I wanted to be able help people eat their own cultural foods in a way that still contributes positively to their health. I also wanted to increase everyone’s access to affordable and nutritious foods.
I love watching the progress patients make! It truly makes me happy to hear about the healthy changes they make at home and then to watch their blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, or other health issues improve.
I would be a National Park Ranger! If I could be outside all day, I would. I love exploring the National Parks and it would be awesome to share that love with others daily.
I love being outside! I typically hike on the weekends as well as go camping or kayaking. On the weekdays, you’ll find me taking a yoga class or cooking a delicious meal!
My favorite TV show is definitely New Girl! It is guaranteed to always put you in a good mood.
