Why did you become a nurse practitioner?
I have always loved the sciences and knew I wanted to help others. My great-grandmother was a nurse and I have very fond memories of her.
What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?
Community-based health centers make access to health services a bit easier and communication between the healthcare team more effective by having so many services available under one roof.
What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?
I enjoy learning about other cultures, the connections created, and helping patients meet their healthcare goals.
Do you have children? If so, what are their ages?
I have fur babies. Two dogs and two cats.
Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?
Travel and day trips, camping, exploring new cities, attending art classes, and spending time with my pups.
