Caroline Karcher, LAC

Behavioral Health

Why did you become a behavioral health specialist?

I shadowed a Psychologist in high school, and I enjoyed learning about how Therapists guide people through personal challenges. Helping someone look at the variables that affect their thoughts, feelings, and emotions was intriguing to me, and I knew that this would offer me a chance to help individuals reach their personal goals.

What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?

I can reach a larger scope of individuals in order to help them obtain their potential.

What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?

I enjoy it when I see a patient empowered by finding their voice and the courage to be their authentic self.

If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?

A Photojournalist.

Do you have hobbies or a way you like to spend your time away from work?

Traveling, hiking, photography, cooking, and watching college football.

Do you have a favorite book, movie or TV show?

To Kill A Mockingbird
