Why did you become a doctor / dentist / behavioral health specialist ?
“My decision to become a doctor was driven largely by values instilled in me by my faith and my family. The idea of being a part of a profession focused on helping others regardless of circumstance focused on facilitating people leading healthier and therefore happier lives
What do you enjoy or find most fulfilling about caring for patients?
On a personal level, I get to know patients a lot more closely than in any other medical profession. I develop strong emotional connections that inspire me not only on the job but in life. I’ll experience the deepest trust, strongest compassion, and most powerful human emotions.
What attracted you to a community health center for your practice?
I was first introduced to the concept of a community health center (CHC) during my first job as an NP. I worked in a very rural small town in the eastern sierra desert of California. There were certain things about the experience that stood out to me.
If you could be anything else, what would you want to be?
I will still want to be a clinician

I have 2 girls, ages 16 and 10
